Kings High School Marching Band Festival

Feel the Roar at Lion’s Pride!

Turn up the volume — marching band season is back! 🥁🎶 Munchie’s Kettle Korn is headed to King High School in Tampa on Saturday, October 3rd for a day packed with music, competition, school spirit, and some seriously talented young musicians at the Lion’s Pride Marching Festival!

Hosted by the King High School Marching Lions, Lion’s Pride has been bringing bands together since 1997. The festival gives marching bands a chance to take the field, show off all those hours of practice, and receive valuable feedback before heading into their FBA Marching Festival.

And there’s plenty to watch! Bands are judged on music performance, general effect, visual performance, percussion, and auxiliary, with commentary for drum majors. From the first note to the final formation, it’s an exciting showcase of the musicianship, precision, creativity, and teamwork that make marching band season so much fun.

We absolutely love these events because there’s just something special about Friday night lights, Saturday competitions, cheering families, booming drumlines, and students giving it everything they’ve got on the field. ❤️

Of course, all that cheering calls for a snack! Find Munchie’s Kettle Korn and grab a fresh bag of our sweet & salty kettle korn to enjoy while you watch the bands take the field. 🍿
